Long-time shock rock legend-and-a-half Alice Cooper has announced a string of November/December tour dates for 2009!
Starting at Manchester's Apollo on 24th November, Cooper's 'Theatre of Death' tour will feature ten UK dates that will also include Glasgow, Wolverhampton, Plymouth, Nottingham, Newcastle, Sheffield, Swindon and Brighton, before his final date at London's Hammersmith Apollo on 6th December.
Support has already been announced for the tour and will come in the guise of Man-Raze, which features Phil Collen of Def Leppard and Paul Cook of The Sex Pistols, as part of the eagerly-anticipated rock-studded show.
Alice Cooper's career spans over 40 years and 25 albums, and this tour is set to be his most spectacular and theatrical yet, rumoured to feature guillotines, blood, electric chairs, dolls and boa constrictors. He recently appeared at Arizona State University's graduation ceremony, opening for Barack Obama, where he thanked the President in advance for changing the USA's national anthem to his classic hit 'School's Out'
Tickets will be on sale next Friday 29th May from 9am at £32.50 each for all dates except Hammersmith, which are £33.50 (+ booking).
