Pianist Keith Jarrett, bassist Gary Peacock and drummer Jack De Johnette set for a date at the Royal Festival Hall in July.
The renowned musicians AKA 'The Standards Trio' are in the Capital for two dates in July following the release earlier this year of fourth studio album 'Yesterdays' - but more impressively - twentieth collaborative effort (they've released four times the number of studio album as live recordings!). Interestingly, 'Yesterdays' was released on CD and vinyl, and marks for first vinyl output from renowned avant-garde label ECM in 15 years!
The trio, renowned for their exquisite improvisation skills are set to impress on Saturday 25th July at the Royal Festival Hall. Keith Jarrett was last over in the UK (also at the Royal Festival Hall) last December for "An evening of Piano Improvisations".
Tickets go on sale Wednesday 27th May at 9AM, costing £65 + booking.
