Spring Awakening comes to premature end at the end of May 2009

Posted: 14 years ago

No sooner had we told you that Spring Awakening had moved house and had it's run extended than we're announcing the closure of the show.

The acclaimed show was re-housed at the Novello theatre in mid-March, following a successful short run at the Lyric in Hammersmith - and the Courtyard Theatre in London, prior to that in 2008 - but the curtains will fall on the last performance on Saturday 30th May. It had been scheduled to run at the Novello until 31st October.

If you've not yet seen the multi award-winning show, which by all accounts, is a pretty damn rendition of Frank Wedekind's story - you'd best get a move on! Tickets start from £17.50 + booking.
