Fans of Music Hall past and present will be pleased to hear that the Sands Film Studios in Rotherhithe, south London are to host a free Music Hall Memorabilia exhibition for three weeks starting today.

The exhibition has been put together by the British Music Hall Society, whose aim is to preserve the rich history of British Music Hall past and present. The event was launched with a private viewing yesterday (Sunday 10th May) at 2PM, with president of the British Music Hall Society Roy Hudd (OBE) in attendance. The launch was covered by newspaper the South London Press. Roy was also interviewed on Robert Elms' BBC London show on 8th May (check the iPlayer link to the right to listen).

The memorabilia exhibition runs weekdays from Monday 11th May until Friday 29th May from 11AM until 5PM, with last entry at 4:30PM and costs you absolutely nothing, but they do request that visitors leave a comment! The exhibition is not open on bank holiday Monday 25th May.

For group bookings, please phone in advance to prevent over-crowding.
