Only a few tickets remain for Brighton's newest musicfest The Great Escape!

Taking place over May 14th, 15th and 16th at 34 of the city's finest bars, pubs and clubs, 12000 people are expected to attend the extensive festival that will see bands such as Kasabian, British Sea Power, The Black Lips, The Maccabees, The Charlatans and Mystery Jets take tos the stages. In total, over 300 acts will descent upon Brighton over the weekend.

Recent last-minute confirmations for the three-day event include Peter, Bjorn and John, Maps, Plugs, Dead Kids and Man Like Me. Also on the bill are An Experiment On A Bird In The Airpump, Micachu and The Shapes, Metronomy, Ex Lovers, White Denim, The Pains Of Being Pure At Hearts, Hockey, Diango Diano and Chew Lips.

In addition, the Artist Village (technically, backstage, a place for networking and such) and conference programme will offer sessions from key music industry personas including Daniel Ek (Spotify), Nathan Lovejoy (Limewire), Patrick Walker (YouTube), Feargal Sharkey (UK music), Colin Greenwood (Radiohead) and Steve Knopper (Rolling Stone), to discuss the changing way that music is being consumed.

As if that isn't enough to whet your appetite, Levis OnesToWatch will be hosting gigs at seafront venue Audio over the weekend, which will include a barbecue and appearances from keyboard virtuoso Frankmusik and a Mystery Jets DJ set. Access to this exclusive residency will only be by wearing a free wristband available only from The Levi's Store, Brighton during 8th-15th May.

Tickets for the long weekend - less than an hour away from London - are £49.50 for a 3-day pass, or £18.50 for a single day ticket. Get them while they're hot!
