Edel entertainment's international label earMUSIC is pleased to announce the first single off Stratovarius' hotly-tipped new studio album "Polaris" as 'Deep Unknown'.

Originally formed in 1983, "Polaris" (released in the UK on May 18th) is Helsinki-based Stratovarius' 12th studio album and their first without former chief songwriter Timo Tolkki. The band will support the May 18th release of "Polaris" with live shows around the globe, UK dates include: Wolverhampton's Wulfrun Hall (May 15th), Nottingham's Rescue Rooms (May 16th), Glasgow's Cathouse (May 17th), London's Islington academy (May 18th) and Manchester's Jilly's Rockworld (May 19th).
