Grand Designs Live

Planning a new-build of your own? Stuck for ideas for that loft conversion? Banged all your nails into the wrong wall? Need to look opulence up in the dictionary? You have come to the right place then.

The hugely successful Grand Designs exhibition returns for another burst of ideas and inspiration at the ExCel centre in East London beginning on 25th April. There are plenty of £10 - £13 tickets available for the shows running from now until Monday 4th May - click on the links below.

So what do you get for your admission? A whole cavalcade of property preening and homely hindsight, all delivered by luminaries from Planet Project - this is serious stuff yet it also enables everyone to sample ideas and suggestions without feeling excluded despite the VIP speakers and experts.

Popular TV presenter Kevin McCloud will be present for various seminars over the course of the week along with other knowledgeable presenters. But it's not all just talk. There are plenty of 'Grand' areas within the exhibition that will delight you - 'Interiors', 'Gardens', 'Build' and 'Village', the latter of which will include a real-time roof-build throughout the event. There are also high-quality shops and restaurants/cafes for chilling out and relaxing during your visit.

ExCel is accessible from DLR (Custom House) - make sure you are on a Beckton bound train! There are also local buses and the Jubilee Line runs nearby through Canning Town (The DLR connects with this station). It is certainly a Grand addition to the Grand setting of the ExCel venue.

Tickets for the London shows are on sale now, costing just £10 for an adult ticket. In November, the show heads up the M6 to the NEC in Birmingham (tickets not yet in sale for the NEC show).
