Underneath a blanket of stars in the Mediterranean sea, Ibiza Rocks is set to play host to an aural treat this July.

2009 is set to be the year that Ibiza Rocks. 2008 provided momentous shows from acts such as Dizzee Rascal, The Streets, Ladyhawke, Black Kids, We Are Scientists and Iglu & Hartly but to name a few. The event is recognised for showcasing up-and-coming talent, having first booked The Kooks in 2005 even before they were signed!

Set in an idyllic hotel location 300m from San Antonio beach with 4 bars and 2 outdoor pools, the Ibiza Rocks hotel now boasts premium stage-view rooms for 2009. Last year legendary Weekender parties were hosted by Xbox and Beachbombing, and Radio 1 are set to return for 2009 after a courtyard party of 3500 people broadcast on-air!

New Yorkers MGMT and Vampire Weekend are set to play the stage on 18 August and 25 August, and the closing party on September 8 will be headlined by Klaxons.
