Household-name The Killers are to headline the first day of the Hard Rock Calling festival held in London's Hyde Park this June and have come a long way since their first UK release in 2003!

Supported by The Kooks, American band The Killers will be playing the weekend festival on June 26th. The Killers' third, album 'Day & Age' received mass praise and has already sold over 1 million copies in the UK since its release last November.

Historically, Hard Rock Calling has only been a two-day festival, but this year an extra date has been added for your musical enjoyment. The three-day festival will also be headlined by Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen on the two other dates, which will see acts such as Ben Harper, Dave Matthews Band, Fleet Foxes and Seasick Steve also taking to the stage.

Tickets for Hard Rock Calling are £45 per day, with the new Friday 26th June date going on general sale this Friday (3rd April) at 9AM.
