The line-ups have now been officially announced for the 2009 edition of the Reading and Leeds festivals - together two of the biggest festivals on the UK scene.

Earlier confirmed were headliners Arctic Monkeys, who will be joining Radiohead, Kings of Leon, Kaiser Chiefs, The Prodigy, Bloc Party,Placebo, Maximo Park, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Fall Out Boy, Ian Brown, Vampire Weekend, Deftones, The Courteeners, Brand New, Funeral for a Friend, Enter Shikari, Eagles of Death Metal, The Gossip, Glasvegas, Jamie T, AFI, White Lies, Friendly Fires, Gallows, The Maccabees, Florence and the Machine, The Gaslight Anthem and many more TBA.

Tickets are on sale now, costing between £70 for a day ticket and £175 for a weekend ticket with camping. Be patient! Ticket agents will be absolutely deluged, as demand will be massive.
