Here is one to add to your busy summer schedules, as the Cornbury festival has announced its sixth edition's line-up.
The two-day family-friendly festival, which will be hosted near Charlbury, Oxfordshire, will take place on the second weekend of July (11th & 12th), and see the likes of ex-Texas frontwoman Sharleen Spiteri, I Am Kloot, Folk heir Teddy Thompson, aging punksters The Damned, Boy Least Likely to, jolly indie popsters The Magic Numbers, (dare we mention...) Dodgy and Scouting For Girls (who will be headlining), take to the stage on the Saturday; followed by The Pretenders, Joe Jackson, blessed vocalist Eddi Reader, Jazz & Rockabilly marvel Imelda May, Senegalese collective Coute Diomboulo, 3 Daft Monkeys and the headlining pop trio Sugababes on the Sunday . Live performances will be spread across three stages and run from 11.00am to approximately 11pm.
Ticket packages range from £27.50 for children (one day), £55.00 for adults (one day) to £90 for adult weekend tickets, with VIP tickets available (all + booking fee) and are on sale now. For those wishing to stay for the weekend, camping costs £20 per person.
