The rumour mill: Radiohead for new album and summer 2009 tour?

Posted: 26th March 2009

If 'In Rainbows' is still going around in your CD changer, you're in for a treat of the Pablo Honey kind.

Radiohead's guitarist Ed O'Brien revealed to the BBC that the band is to return to the studio imminently to start working on new material. "We'll be doing some more recording. It's business as usual.", O'Brien told the BBC. "We've sort of finished the bulk of [In Rainbows] touring. We will be doing a little bit of touring in the summer..."

The band are currently touring Central and South America, whilst recently receiving bad press regarding Thom Yorke's ignorance! Miley Cyrus and Ronan Keating amongst others have slated the quirky singer, claiming he refused to hang out with them.

No more details were provided as to the band's future plans as Ed spoke at the launch of the FAC (Features Artists' Coalition), but this is promising news for fans that Radiohead are already looking well ahead. Hail to the 'head!
