Singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini has just announced details of a 12-date UK tour this spring.

Starting on 2nd May, the young crooner from Paisley, Scotland, will embark on a series of shows covering the length of the England and Scotland before his final date in Glasgow. The tour comes ahead of his second album release 'Sunny Side Up' this summer (rumoured to be July 2nd) and a string of festival appearances including Isle of Wight, T in the Park, and the both V Festivals. The gigs will be the perfect opportunity to show off his new material. Will 2009 be the Year of the Nutini?

In 2006, Nutini played a sell-out UK tour, shortly after being signed to Atlantic records the year before at just 18 years old. Armed with his boyish good looks, we're expecting big things from his upcoming dates.
