After much speculation, it seems the cat's now out of the bag, with six dates planned this October, and with lead singer recently stating: "The boys are back in town", it seems fair to assume it's the original lineup, featuring Tony Hadley, Gary Kemp, Martin Kemp, Steve Norman and John Keeble (which is also listed on their myspace site).

The multi-platinum 80s new romantics are set to release a best hits album sometime this year, titled: 'Spandau Ballet Platinum Series Collection'.

The tour starts in Sheffield's Arena on 16th October, taking in Glasgow (17th), London (O2 - 20th), Birmingham (24th), Newcastle (26th) and Manchester on 28th. Given the public's recent appetite for reunions, I'd imagine high demand for these tickets, and it's interesting to note the gaps between dates, and that the O2's calendar is reasonably empty around this time... hmm.. more dates to be added, methinks...

Tickets for all dates except Belfast's Odyssey Arena will be available here this Friday (27th March) at 9AM. The Odyssey Arena tickets go on sale next Thursday (2nd April) at 9AM.
