Posted: 15 years ago

Girl band sensation The Saturdays - featuring S Club Juniors' Frankie Sandford and Rochelle Wiseman - have added more dates to their UK tour this summer.

The Saturdays recently released the 2009 Comic Relief single 'Just Can't Get Enough ', which soared to number 2 in the UK charts, making it their highest-reaching and best-selling release to-date. It was preceded by their debut album, Chasing Lights.

In 2008, the ladies supported Girls Aloud and The Jonas Brothers, as well as appearing at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball and other engagements .

Incorporating their very first arena date (at the Cardiff International Arena), the girls will play a string of dates across England and Wales starting at the end of June before hitting the UK festival circuit. Dates have been added at venues in Leicester, Liverpool, Plymouth, Swindon and Cardiff, and will coincide with the release of their fifth single, 'Work'. The Saturdays' second album is rumoured to be released before the end of 2009.

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Saturday [when else? - Ed] 21st March.
