No Passport Necessary hits the Roundhouse on May Day - May 4th 2009

Posted: 15 years ago

Walking on the footsteps of Love Music Hate Racism, CIFD productions present a one-off extravaganza, where music is colour-blind and no passport necessary to be granted entrance!

The Roundhouse will play host to this much-anticipated event, which will take place on 'May Day', May 4th , and see the likes of Mongrel (the supergroup we no longer need to introduce by now), Reggae veteran Tippie Irie, and ear-worthy fusion-prone acts such as Swami (Asian electro), multitasking Beatboxer/Flutist Nathan 'Flutebox' Lee, soulful Salsa makers Alex Wilson's Salsa Con Soul Orchestra, Hip-hoppy Reggae punksters Zoe Appleseed, funky rocking three-piece Halagoogoo, Size Nine (Funk, Soul, Latin, Ska, Boogaloo), Queens English (Hip Hop, Rap, Punk) and Something Simple (Fun, Reggae, Hip-hop). You got it, 'mix' is the word!... Also, make time to check out the Co-Motion art installation, curated around the much-relevant theme of 'London's Global Mixtape'....

So much fun forecast at the tiny price of £15.00- tickets are on sale now!
