The legendary space rockers have announced a mini reunion tour for November.

Gong founder Daevid Allen has called on former bandmates Steve Hillage, Gilli Smyth, Mike Howlett, Miquette Giraudy, Chris Taylor, Theo Travis and John McKenzie, to mark the band's 40th anniversary of live touring, since their formation in 1967.

This will be Gong's first UK tour in nine years, which will kick off at the Bristol O2 Academy on November 19th, via Exeter Lemon Tree (November 20th), Manchester Academy 2 (November 21st), Edinburgh Picturehouse (November 22nd), Sheffield Leadmill (November 23rd), Lemington Spa Assembly (November 25th), Cambridge Corn Exchange (November 26th), London HMV Forum (November 27th), Oxford Regal Theatre (November 28th), and end in Brighton Corn Exchange (November 29th).

The tour will come shortly after the release of Gong's forthcoming new album, "2032", expected in September.

Tickets for Gong's November tour, which cost £18.50 - £21.00 (+ booking fee), are on sale now.
