Walking in the footsteps of Aerosmith, The Police and The Who, The Boss and his E-Street Band will headline this year's Hard Rock (fka Hyde Park) Calling festival, on Sunday June 28th.
This will be Springsteen's first-ever appearance at a UK music festival.
Other acts taking part in the two-day (June 27th and 28th) festival include folky-jazzy-poppy rockers Dave Mathews Band and hyped newcomers The Gaslight Anthem, who will both support Springsteen on the Sunday. The rest of the line-up remains to be confirmed.
One-day tickets cost £ 45 (standard), £ 165 (upgrade) and £ 265 (VIP), and will go on sale this (freaky) Friday (13th) at 9AM.
Last month, Springsteen released his sixteenth album in three decades, 'Walking on a Dream', the bonus track of which, 'The Wrestler' earned him a Golden Globe for Best Original Song for the film of the same name, starring born-again wonder Mickey Rourke.
