Hard Rock legends Deep Purple have just announced a short winter 2009 tour taking place this November.

The band last played live in the UK last year as part of the London Motor Show music festival at the Excel, but have not toured the UK since 2007. The band precede the UK leg of their tour with international dates in Czech Republic, Denmark, Greece, Japan, Lebanon, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden and Turkey.

The UK tour starts on Tuesday 10th November at the Manchester Apollo, moving on to Glasgow (SECC) on 11th, Birmingham's LG Arena on 13th and finishing (currently) with a single date at London's Hammersmith Apollo on 14th November.

Tickets, costing £38 + booking, go on sale tomorrow morning (Friday 6th Feb) at 9AM.
