As previously reported, Maximo Park's 2009 tour went on sale today. The Newcastle band saw their hometown show at the Newcastle Academy sell-out in minutes today, as well as a number of other dates.

They have just announced two extra shows - one more at the Newcastle Academy on 13th May and another at the Brixton Academy on 26th May.

Tickets are £17.50 for Brixton and £16.50 for Newcastle.
