Although he didn't make it to the Sound of 2009 longlist, electropop newbie, Esser, is hotly tipped as one to hear!

The "Hoxtonite" will release his new single, "Let's Work it out" on February 23rd, the cyber-cool video of which is already available for preview on his Myspace (links in the sidebar on right).

While his debut album is still in the works and slated for May, Esser has secured support slots for Kaiser Chief's entire February/March UK arena tour. Not bad!

But in April, he will be the star of his own show, as he will embark on a headline tour, kicking off on April 16th at the Leeds Cockpit, via the cities of Glasgow (April 17th), Manchester (April 21st), Bristol (April 23rd), Exeter (April 25th) and Colchester April 28th), among others, only to end at the University of London Union on April 30th.

All headline tickets cost under a tenner and are on sale now.
