Come March, Peter (as he is now known) Doherty, will attempt to prove that there is more to his credentials than being one of Kate Moss' exes, as he will release his much-awaited solo debut. 'Grace/Wastelands', which features contributions by his Babyshambles mates Adam Ficek and Drew McConnell, as well as Britpop guitar hero Graham Coxon, is due out on March 16th, and 'Last of the English Roses', the first single, on March 9th.

Pete(r) will play two shows as part of the NME Shockwaves, in London on February 22nd and Glasgow on February 24th, then celebrate his 30th birthday (a reason why he might have ditched his pet name...) on March 12th, before starting his gigging venture around the UK, via the cities of Cardiff (March 13th), Southampton (March 15th), Lincoln (March 17th) and Grimsby March 24th) , among others.
