The Black Dahlia Murder are a Detroit-based heavy-metal band formed in 2001, featuring Trevor Strnad - vocals, Brian Eschbach - guitar, Ryan Knight - guitar, Max Lavelle - bass and Alan Cassidy - drums.

Album releases include their 2003 debut, "Unhallowed" (2003), "Miasma" (2005), "Nocturnal" (2007), "Deflorate" (2009), "Ritual" (2011), "Everblack" (2013) and 2015's "Abysmal".
