James Acaster

James Acaster is a multi Edinburgh award-nominated British stand-up comedian active since 2008.

He won the Off The Kerb's Laughing Boy New Act in 2010 as well as 3rd in the Latitude New Act Competition the following month and has been a regular on TV's "Mock the Week" and he wrote the 2016 BBC show, "We The Jury". He also hosts the "James Acaster's Perfect Sounds" podcast on BBC Sounds.

He released the Sunday Times best-selling book, "Classic Scrapes" in 2017, plus 2019's: "Perfect Sound Whatever".

Tours include: "Amongst Other Things", "Lawnmower", "Recognise", "Represent", "Reset" (AKA "The Trelogy"), the "Classic Scrapes" book tour, "Cold Lasagne Hate Myself 1999" (winning the Melbourne International Comedy Festival award for "Most Outstanding Show"), plus 2023's: "Hecklers Welcome".
