This is me - Kim Sklinar

Profile

By 'eck, I'm Kim and I'm very pleased to meet you. Originally hailing from the Yorkshire backwaters of Wakefield, I'm currently residing in London via France and China, and my God I love this city. I subsist on coffee by day and have a penchant for strangely-named beer by night.

My favourite bands are Death Cab For Cutie, Radiohead, Modest Mouse and The Police (now known as Sting for you Alan Partridge fans). At the moment I'm very much into The Thirst, Tapes n' Tapes, Lykke Li, Friendly Fires, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Cinematics and anything emanating from New Yorkshire. I'd say my tastes are however eclectic and I even like Girls Aloud! When I'm not chasing down new bands or trousers, I can be found in your local Starbucks checking out the newspapers and overpriced sarnies, playing guitar badly, obsessing over bad shoes, or at a pub quiz. Back of the net!!
