As I live in Manchester, the vibrant music scene with many great bands and musicians has influenced my music taste to all parts of the spectrum ranging from singer/songwriters through pop-rock bands and finally to heavier 'screamo' metal bands.
In addition to this, sport also plays a vital role in my life representing both school and club for football and rugby, and last year, Trafford at athletics.
However, over the past year I have somehow managed to dislocate both shoulders thus losing the ability to take part in the sports I once enjoyed; although it has given me a completely different view on live gigs and performances. Where I would usually be getting involved at the front up against the stage, I have instead been staying nearer the back, appreciating the music much more, resulting in my interest in actually reviewing and writing articles about concerts.
