Single Review

Discordant digital tinkering paves the way for a fuzzy electro-pop/indie slide of single, 'Det Haster'. Casio Kids use bass volume, grinding keys and saccharine soaked, laboured vocals to provide mystique and an off-kilter slant of the Shy Child ilk. These pop distorting Bergen bolsterers continue to create confusion, yet strangely there's still an overwhelming calming effect that comes through in the soothing vocals.

A more eerie atmospheric vibe lags onto the 'Of Montreal Remix' and, more profile is given to the keyboard push. The track paves the way intriguingly for next year's release of what could be a mayhem inducing, yet strangely calming UK debut album, ' Aabenbaringen Over Aaskammen'.
