I've no idea what it is about the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Every song I ever hear by them is so catchy and annoyingly brilliant. I always feel I shouldn't like them for some reason. Perhaps it is just because they are so incredible popular and make such good records, but that's surly the reason to like them!!!

Well they've once again reproduced that winning formula. Staccato punchy lyrics sung with power by Anthony Kiedes. Funky start stop bass playing by Flea and "that" drumming by Chad Smith. Oh you've got to love that cowbell.

I was amazed to read that this is their first single release in over four years. Their last album was 'Stadium Arcaduim' in 2006. So yes, I'm very much looking forward to eagerly awaited release of "I'm With You".

With headline festival shows upcoming in Japan and Brazil followed by a European Tour the Red Hot Chili Peppers are well and truly back and back with a bang.

A fan or not this is essential music.
