Single Review

After an appearance at Underage under their belts and several mentions in Kerrang et al, it seems that the time is right for the St Albans-based 6-piece to adorn the walls of teenagers and desktops of business women and men everywhere. Hold fire though - I think it might take a bit longer before world domination kicks in. This is NOT a great single to my ears, it's just OK.

A selection of remixes greets the buyer, all seem to sound the same as each other and I remain unconvinced that they are needed at all. C.R.A.S.H. do the best job on what is a fairly ordinary song, turning it into a full-on 8-minute clubathon that sounds a tad like Chicks On Speed...well, until the singing kicks in. The Josh Go Audio version sounds like Alphabeat and we need another cheesy squeezy keyboard-sound like we need a lawnmower on a motorway during the holiday season.

I don't know - is it me or does everything sound the same at the moment? This isn't a bad record, sorry kids, download, but it just doesn't have any heart and soul, any passion or anything other than a tiny bit of strop and roll about it. The download bundle features a free poster - oh joy.
