If this single is anything to go by then Andy Walker, AKA Loyal Trooper is worth keeping an eye on in the future.
This song is mostly home recorded (including the piano track that was recorded in his parents house) and yet it has a great feel to it that many bands and artists can't seem to find with thousands of pounds of recording equipment at their disposal. A simple acoustic guitar and piano compliment his haunting vocal perfectly in a song that creates a sense of encroaching doom and despair through minimalist use of drums and a great lyric. It's a great achievement for an artist with nothing more than talent to help him out, but it seems to be a talent that may garner praise enough to jump from the home to the studio recording in the future. Definitely a song to purchase and a man to look out for more.
