Today - New Education Single Review

Single Review
"Today" is the debut release from a new, young and exciting four piece, New Education.
Now this is good....
High tempo, rolling, hard beating, tight drums lead into a really impressive indie rock anthem, that's a very 'sit up and notice me' sound and style. Searing guitars address powerful perspective lyrics, sung with a real refreshing passion and vigour. In the bands own words its "the sound of the midlands calling".
The B side is a subtle, acoustic guitar solo with singer Ryan Dooley's voice and lyrics very reminiscent of Tom Clarke of The Enemy.
I saw New Education live supporting 'Beggars' recently and thought they where excellent. They played a measured short set full of big attitude sounds. And looked a band in control and full of confidence and style.
The band are from Stoke on Trent and have only been together a few months. But already they are encouraging new fans at noisy local gigs. If they get the break they deserve they will be together a very long time, I really would urge everyone to check these guys out live.
Get onto them early, if they can follow this up, these could be very big, very soon.
