Moby claims that he wanted this to sound like the sort of thing you would hear in the Paradise Garage when Tony Humphries or Larry Levan were playing out. It sounds like something playing out of someone's Peugeot whilst cranking up the bass at the lights on a provincial housing estate. However this full-on bassy chugger is redeemed by Shayna Steele's cracking disco-diva vocals. Moby has done it all before on "Feeling So Real" and "Move" although this sounds less DIY and rather more polished. I preferred it when he was breaking new ground rather than treading the old. A disappointment - can we have less Freemasons and more electronica remixers please?
