Sweet Hours - Beth Rowley Single Review

Single Review
Like all the good 'uns, 26 year old Peruvian born Beth Rowley has done the groundwork : and it shows.
Having done backups for the likes of Ronan Keating and Enrique Iglesias, the former student of Brighton Institute of Modern Music shines all on her own on this slice of contemporary soulful-blues pop balladry, lifted from her debut album Little Dreamer (UK chart #6) . It's such a strong song, it's made the A-list at BBC Radio 2, and rightly so. This petite Bristol blonde comes hot on the heels of Welsh songbird Duffy, and will no doubt give her a run for her money in 2008. In many ways she's got the cultured voice of Eva Cassidy which bodes well for her bright future.
