Hmmmm - I saw AS support Iron Maiden at Twickenham and was reasonably impressed with their crunching guitars and double kick-drum bawlings. They proved a worthwhile distraction to being showered with plastic bottles of Kingstone Press or piss (or both) and made a very enjoyable racket in the process. So quite why they have opted to release a song like this baffles me. It's all very well trying to display different facets to your repertoire but this one doesn't light my campfire I'm afraid. Too near Nickelback and to close to Counting crows for comfort, it trudges rather than triumphs and fails to sound like a true representation of their abilities. Balladeering in Metal should be banned! Try the album - I bet you skip this one though.
