Up lifting, euphoric, and original. They are just some words to describe Goldfrapp’s new ‘Caravan Girl’. The single is taken from the brilliant new album, ‘Seventh Tree’, which went gold in its first week, and is their fastest selling album so far!
The track is perfect for the up-coming summer. You can imagine yourself on a beach somewhere with your friends, having a good time in the sun. Vocally, it’s amazing, a very experienced and talented vocalist and lyrics that suit brilliantly.
Personally, I prefer Goldfrapp’s older stuff, such as ‘Ooh La La’, a classic that’s hard to beat! Goldfrapp’s previous single, ‘A&E’ proved to be a good hit, but will ‘Caravan Girl’ have a greater success? I don’t think it will, but who knows these days, anything could happen.
Goldfrapp has got some great shows lined up, including performances at the Lovebox Weekender in London’s Victoria Park and the Connect Festival in Scotland just to name a few.
Overall, a very a good track! Not the greatest track that they’ve made, but it’s definitely worth a listen to!
