Time After Time - Elliot Minor Single Review

Single Review
The fifth single from the Yorkshire rockers, 'Time After Time' is a keyboard led track featuring the usual mix of soft melodic vocals and pop-driven lyrics. Written about the love life of a man and his unappreciative girlfriend, the band distance themselves from their usual guitar based music, using slower keyboard work as well as slower drums & faint guitar.
By no means anything groundbreaking, Elliot Minor’s track atones for their last three releases which were nothing short of tedious and uneventful. Although lacking the swagger of debut single ‘Parallel Worlds’, the song is a decent addition to the bands ever growing pop repertoire. Fans will be glad to see the entwined vocals from both Ed Minton and Alex Davies, which is the only reason Elliot Minor haven’t been fully condemned to the pop genre. Worth a listen for anyone into Mcfly or fans of the horrific Busted era, rock fans might enjoy too.
