Joan Wasser (aka Joan As A Police Woman), is in a searching mood and is ready to portray that through, crisp, echoing vocals and a winding blues pushed accompaniment. That is, if this lead single to her forthcoming 2nd album is anything to go by?
Apart from smoothening out the rough edges from her gritty and mildly powerful debut album, Joan filters tender, contented poetry through the lyrics removing her dark veil and revealing some inner light.
