Hard2Beat Club Anthems 2008 - Miscellaneous Performers Album Review

Album Review
It’s easy to have a cheap pop at a compilation album like Club Anthems 2008 when comparing it to the more critically acclaimed music currently in the charts today.
The likes of Basshunter’s ‘Now You’re Gone’, however catchy it may have been throughout it’s duration as number one, isn’t the sort of track you’d want to boast about liking in certain crowds but this is not to say there isn’t an element of talent on this two-disc presentation from Hard2Beat.
After all, what would a world without StoneBridge, Deepest Blue, Cascada and Angel City be like? Not to mention Booty Luv or Charly Lownoise and Mental Theo! Maybe some of you better not answer, but for others these kind of cheesy dance hits are what holidays in the sun and boozy nights out are made of.
Certainly listening to both CD’s and closing your eyes does take you out to nightclubs with sticky dancefloors, sweaty bodies and plenty of energy and is packed with all the biggest songs you’d expect from this year.
For what it is, and for the purpose it’s been created, Club Anthems 2008 is everything you’d want and emphasises Hart2Beat’s status in the clubland circuit.
