Live at The O2 - Keane DVD Review

Keane
DVD Review
I must say, after watching this DVD I was highly disappointed, and found it severely frustrating. Having been to the gig myself, I knew that Keane played a fantastic show. This however, fails to come across due to the entire production being shown in black and white. It diminishes Keane’s performance, and eliminates some interesting pyrotechnics and light displays which helped make the concert a success,
In spite of this, Keane play a great set featuring hits ‘Bedshaped’, ‘Everybody’s Changing’ and ‘Crystal Ball’. The concert plays a set list which features just about all of Keane’s songs from the albums ‘Under The Iron Sea’ and ‘Hopes and Fears’. The sound quality from this recording is great and shows how Keane come across as more than a pop band, with lead singer ‘Tom Chaplin’ providing his patented, energetic performance.
Overall it is hard to enjoy this because of the frustrating nature of black and white visuals, however for those who are willing to bear this then you’ll enjoy Keane performing a great set.
