Not a lot of people say anything bad about KT Tunstall so releasing another single from her critically acclaimed album 'Drastic Fantastic' is a safe move.
'If Only' is regarded as one of her best songs to date but others could easily argue it sounds a little bland despite it's obvious technical complexities.
It's almost a perfect song for a lazy Sunday afternoon drive or just to unwind to after a hard day at the office although too many listens leaves you feeling rather spaced out!
Just like so many other songs on the album, KT's trademark vocals, thoughtful lyrics and colourful melodies really shine through with this track.
If you already have the album the only reason to buy the CD and digital formats is for KT's cover of The Bangles' 'Walk Like An Egyptian' (recorded live at Liverpool Academy) while the 7" vinyl will contain 'The Prayer' by Bloc Party as it's b-side.
