Single Review

One of the most exciting bands to come out of the UK punk and hardcore scene in a long, long time, Watford’s very own Gallows return with new single ‘Just Because You Sleep Next To Me Doesn’t Mean You’re Safe’ taken from their awesome ‘Orchestra Of Wolves’ album. Although somewhat less radio-friendly than ‘Staring at the Rude Bois’, this is still a satisfyingly brutal and intense affair. The irrepressible energy and aggression is no less apparent and the band deliver up another raucous slice of turbocharged mayhem which erupts into the kind of wonderfully thunderous racket that they are fast becoming famous for.

What Gallows do incredibly well, is take angst and bridle it with a fist-in-the-air, no holds barred intensity without ever crossing the fine line between being inventive and being vapid. Gallows once again more than prove themselves to be the real deal with another release to make you sit up and take notice. Seditious and in your face, it’s an absolute gem.
