Unforgettable - Andy Scott-Lee Single Review

Andy Scott-Lee

Single Review

Andy Scott-Lee's attempts at a music career have certainly been varied having included time spent in the Scott-Lee family boy band 3SL, entry into the qualifying rounds of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest and every music desperados favourite, Pop Idol. Having spent the last year or so trailing his wife Michelle Heaton and sister Lisa Scott-Lee or various TV projects Scott-Lee is now on course to release his debut single 'Unforgettable', a bold move aimed at highlighting the vocal talent he obviously has without a reliance on others.

In a move away from a history of tracks edging on the dancier side of guitar tinged pop, new track 'Unforgettable' is a four minute piece of piano laden alt-rock/ dream pop that flows with a movie soundtrack quality. Aimed with all certainty at the Valentine's market, lyrics are rich in feeling but a lack of memorable melodies and catchy hooks make this track more 'Forgettable' than anything.
