Single Review
This snippet of Leicestershire born, hanging indie/epic chill-out is a digital prelude to a subtle, foraging and slightly spacey debut album that moulds together bits of dance, ambience, folk and reflective indie. Unlike many crossover bands, Kyte have what it takes to keep the connoisseurs contented, on both the chill-out dance and indie side of things.
On proud display is an ability to mix tingling reflection as well as low-key musing vocals with a growing xylophone tinged, slightly summery accompaniment. Kyte combine the impact of Groove Armada and Snow Patrol, all for the price of one single. Now, that is worthy of the February sales.
