Single Review
Taken from the new self-titled album, House Clouds is yet another pioneering transformation from LA group Liars. A tamer release compared to the previous brutish single Plaster Casts Of Everything that really does get the blood flowing.
What can I say, there are big bass synths, a theory of more traditional structure and a drumbeat that could be taken straight from a Beck song.
I guess you have to expect the un-expected from these chaps, but if this takes you by surprise or not, it really doesn’t thrill like a track off Drums Not Dead.
What next I wonder? They certainly keep you on your toes.
