Single Review
James Chapman aka Maps has had a great year. A critically aclaimed album We Can Create in the spring brought much attention, with a Nationwide Mercury Prize nomination. Things should get even better for the Northampton -based bedroom genius who's follow up to It Will Find You is out on October 8. Not a ProTools kit in sight, Chapman uses a 16 track and Yamaha RM1x sequencer with co-production from Bjork and Sigur Ros tweeker Valgeir Sigurdsson for a late summer flourish. Nifty beats, lush production and golden melodies bring this beauty to life.
