The Digerati - F451 Single Review

F451
Single Review
The title of F451's debut download might have the majority of us wondering what the hell it means. For those who take the time to investigate it relates to a term used to define, in it's simplest terms, the glitterati of the digital and technological worlds. An intriguingly mysterious title, but is it really lyrically the kind of thing that's going to appeal with such obscure subject matter and similarly associated electronic sampling.
The band claim they are trying to get raw meaningful rock music back into the charts and see well established contempories Muse as a group to aspire to. Whilst the instrumentation to this track is faultless and performed with a boundless energy there is an overwhelming irritating factor lurking in the back of the mind. Namely the uncomfortable proximity in nature to the tracks vocals and chordage with American rockers Green Day. Whilst this isn't necessarily a bad thing the bands individualistic traits are lost along the way side which might seem disparaging to some.
