A High School bond still ties together the groove rocking, LA quintet of Rooney, into third album territory (Calling The World released 10/09/07). This searching single has already created a hit frenzy with the Myspace junkies and the tugging percussion funk drive of Ned Bower, combining with the sparkling, but weary pitch of Robert Schwartzman is bound to find many a radio friend. Slotting in between the crevice of Maroon 5 and The Feeling, Rooney's passionate rhythmic approach could make their third album the one that brings the exposure that many have predicted of them since 2003.
