Illegal Attacks - Ian Brown Single Review

Ian Brown
Single Review
The best way to dispel lingering rumours about an undoubtedly cash grabbing and ill-fated Stone Roses re-union is by throwing yourself like a monkey into a banana pile, into your climbing solo career. Ian Brown does this with a vocally deeper than usual and instrumentally fatter lash out at the world, well America anyway. Percussion and bass attacks are carried out with slow impact precision, beefing up Brown’s hovering and poetically, scything attack on Bush’s war-happy approach. Brown taking on bush with fervour and plenty of fight, it’s not often you’ll be able to say that this year.
