We'll Live and Die in these Towns - The Enemy Album Review

The Enemy
Album Review
The Enemy are here with their debut album We'll Live and Die in these Towns. The Coventry Quartet have already grabbed the nations attention with infectious Away from Here and more recently Had Enough.
To carry on this tradition of great music the album lives up to all expectations. Their pop melodies make for easy listening, but with it comes a grit and determination as their song titles suggest Had Enough, Pressure, Aggro, Away from here and We'll Live and Die in these Towns. These guys have something to say and their going to shout it at you in every way!
The two singles released from the album already are the jewels in the crown, however the title track We'll Live and Die in these Towns provides a guitar beat similar to Ocean Colour Scene which isn't bad in my book!
Moreover You're Not Alone' and It's Not OK shows glimpses of a post punk era with clashing symbols, loud guitars and sharp shouting from Lead vocalist Tom Clarke.
I would go as far to say in many ways this band remind me of The Clash with an Oasis swagger.
My advice: get off the Arctic Monkey bandwagon and tune into the real band in touch with the British people, Coventry's finest - The Enemy!
