Where’s Your Spirit Man - Kharma 45 Single Review

Kharma 45
Single Review
Either a teeth grinder, or maybe an ‘effective’ anthem for sometime in the future, it all depends on your taste really. The Klaxons may well have coined the term ‘nu-rave’ (purposefully or by default) but this Irish quintet have gone a step further by trying to combine classic rock with hard dance. And yes I guess they have accomplished this but it doesn’t necessarily mean it was the greatest of ideas in the first place. What cannot be denied is that Where’s Your Spirit Man is an exceptionally catchy track with thumping drums, eighties synths and a continual and easily singable ‘one liner’ chorus throughout. But what I wanna know really is if they were intending to compete in this year’s ‘Eurovision’ song contest. They might have done scarily well.
